Population
Hamilton (Including Ancaster, Dundas & Stoney Creek) is a growing city, experiencing 6% annual growth. Culture
Hamilton is a city with many local attractions. Home to a number of museums and rich in history: For example, Dundurn Castle, a National Historic Site, can be found in Hamilton. In addition, there is Mohawk College, home to 10,000 full time students and over 40,000 part-time students. Hamilton is also home to Redeemer Christian College which is a private, Christian liberal arts University with about 800 students enrolled annually.
Health Care
Hamilton is home to the Hamilton Heath Sciences Center which comprises six separate hospital facilities and a cancer center. State of the art, the center employs more than 10,000 people and helps hundreds of thousands of people every year. The Hamilton Health Sciences Center also has a dedicated children’s hospital and a University Medical Center, which makes use of its close proximity to McMaster University to train new doctors and develop new techniques and procedures.
